Madison Hoop Dreams School of Basketball Information

This Fall, we will offer our School of Basketball program at the Polson Middle School (302 Green Hill Rd, Madison). We will have 2 sessions each night. The first session, from 6 to 7:15 PM, will be for players in grades 3 - 8. It is an opportunity for players to develop their ball handling skills and work on pure shooting form. With 3 nights each week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during September and October), players become more confident in their skills and more dedicated to working on getting better. Mondays will be run by New Haven legend Bobby Moore, Wednesdays will be run by Coach Brett Zanardi, and Fridays will feature Coach Rich Pagliuca. Players can attend as their schedule allows. Obviously, the more they attend the better the results. Once registered, we do request a text when a player is not able to attend. Since we add coaches based on attendance, we need a fairly accurate attendance count. Coach Bill Barker at 203-494-6905. Our second session each night, from 7:30 to 9 PM, is for high school players. All high school sessions are run by Coach Brett Zanardi, an assistant coach at Conn College in New London. It will feature a high school varsity level workout with footwork and finishing, stationary and movement ball handling, attacking the basket, scoring moves, and shooting drills. We will have competitive games the last 20 to 30 minutes each night. Monday and Wednesday nights are for boys and Friday nights will be for girls. It is a great opportunity for players to hone their skills for the 24 - 25 season. We will draw players from over 15 area towns. Additional coaches will be added based on enrollment.
