Columbus Day Basketball Camp Information

On October 9th, most schools are off in recognition of Columbus Day. We will offer a day of basketball at the Polson Middle School at 302 Greenhill Rd . This is for all boys and girls in grades 3 --- 8 and will be from 9 AM to 3 PM. After about an hour of skill development, we have games the rest of the day until Coach Rich Pagliuca, "The Candyman", arrives to teach our campers some offensive moves and a variety of picks to get teammates open and how to properly utilize a pick. It is a day of good competition and lots of fun!!! With Coach Bratt Zanardi, Coach Bobby Moore, Coach Tyler Boris and Coach Kyle Hoffman, every player gets personal instruction and leaves the gym with more knowledge, more confidence, and a greater love of basketball.. We will limit our enrollment to 60 campers. So, we encourage everyone to register early. We draw from about 20 towns with the majority of campers from Madison, Guilford, and Old Saybrook. The cost is $50 for the day. However, a family sending two children pays $45 per child. With three or more children, the cost is $40 per child (family friendly pricing). Please share this opportunity with teammates and other friends. Having friends there is not essential. However, it adds to the competition and fun. Most campers start the day without knowing anyone there and leave with many new friendships.
