Madison Hoop Dreams Basketball Camp Information

With the battle against Covid 19 keeping young people from activities that enhance their social and physical well being, we are thrilled to have secured the HK Middle School the week of July 26th to 30th this summer to have a week of basketball for fun and development. Historically, we held 5 to 6 weeks of camp each summer. For over 20 years, we were the most popular basketball day camp in Connecticut ! However school systems were reticent to release their facilities without confidence that it would be safe for young people to participate. We just got acceptance of our request. Since it is so late in the registration process for summer camps, we have opted to only offer 1 week this summer. It is our hope that we can attract 30 players in grades 3 – 5 and 30 players in grades 6 – 9. I hope that every family will help us spread the word. Each camper will receive a composite leather basketball and a quick dry camp T shirt. More importantly, our coaches will see to it that each camper leaves on July 30th with a week of great times, better basketball skills, and memories to cherish. We are popular for a reason! The competition is high but friendly. Players make friends with campers from over 20 area towns. Please register ASAP to avoid disappointment. Enrollment is limited. The cost is $275 for 1 camper. A family with 2 campers will pay $250 each. A family with 3 or more campers will pay $225 each. Since we are a non-profit, we will assist every family to enable our program to be affordable. The past 12 years, we have been a non-profit and given over $130,000 to college scholarships and donations to Wounded Warriors, St Jude's Children's Hospital, The Shriner's Children's Hospital, and Tunnel 2 Towers.
