Madison Hoop Dreams Basketball Camp - Week 2 - Boys Information

This will be our 26th summer and we plan to make it a very special event with outstanding guest speakers and a great staff! We are determined to remain the most popular basketball day camp in CT (for over 20 years). Many campers attend for more than one week (over 1/3 attend 2, 3, or 4 weeks). That only happens when you provide a camp that challenges, motivates, and inspires campers to love the game of basketball. With over 10,000 alumni, we are very proud to offer a basketball camp that teaches all the basic skills while helping parents instill good values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal pride in hard work to achieve goals. Hopefully, you will join us this summer to help us celebrate our 26th season. Normally, we offer 5 or 6 weeks of camp. This summer, we have only 4 weeks at the East Haven Veterans Memorial Ice Rink; just off I-95 at Exit 52. Each summer, they replace the ice with 4 basketball courts. Our campers, last summer, loved the spacious, air conditioned facility. We can host up to 120 campers each week. Since we often sell out, I encourage you to register early to secure a spot. This summer, UCONN Coach Taliek Brown, Director of Player Development, (former great UCONN point guard who led UCONN to win the 2004 National Championship!) and UCONN players will speak each week. Pictures and autographs as well! With 2 supervisors, a full time trainer, and 2 coaches for each team of up to 10 campers, we are prepared for a great turnout for our 26th summer. Our ratio of staff to campers (better than 1 to 5) is one of the reasons our camps have been so popular. From exit 61 in Madison to Exit 52 in East Haven is only 15 minutes. This summer we will have 2 weeks for girls only on 2 courts and boys on the other 2 courts. (July 15 – 19 and July 22 – 26). The weeks of July 8 – 12 and July 29 – Aug 2 are co-ed. We appreciate your support of our program. It enables us to support several charities (we have sponsored 5 Wounded Warriors, 5 St Jude's Hospital Children, and 5 Shriner's Hospital Children for years; as well as providing $5K to $7K in college scholarships and over $3K to other charities each year).
